Feedback from those who trust us

Basalt Grazing Pty Ltd uses Maxi Weaner for calves straight off their mothers. The young cattle take to the feed quickly, helping maintain their weight during the weaning process. The team is very happy with the product and committed to continuing its use.

Basalt Grazing Client

We’ve been using Maxi Weaner for three years, and the improvement in our livestock’s condition is clear. The feed is consistently high quality and has proven to be a solid investment. Our weaners gain weight, develop their rumen effectively, and grow into heavier, more marketable animals sooner. Feeding throughout the year maintains a strong nutritional plane, delivering better long term results. The feed is always readily available, and the Maxi Grain team are great to work with. We will continue to recommend them and their products to other producers.

Euraba Pastoral Client

We have been using Weaner Meal for our forest weaners and Crushed Sorghum T8 Mix with M4UR for an end of year supplement from Maxwelton Feed & Grain for a number of years. Service is second to none and because it is local and a great product, price is as good a value for money as you will find. I am very happy to recommend Andrew and Alison, and their products. They are a great asset to our district!

Colin & Maddie Blacklock Client

We have been feeding our cattle Maxi Weaner from Maxwelton Feed & Grain for several seasons and have noticed a remarkable improvement in stock health and condition. The product is clean, fresh, and highly palatable, which encourages even our pickiest eaters to consume it readily. As a result, we've seen better weight gains throughout our herd. We highly recommend this product to ensure your cattle receive the best possible nutrition, especially during critical periods such as weaning.

Bunda Beef Client

We have used a variety of products from Andrew and Alison at Maxwelton Feed & Grain with great success. The improved health and weight gain of our second round weaners from being fed Maxi Weaner feed is clearly noticeable, even to the point where they develop a shine before leaving the yard. We have also started using their Maxi Grower product to keep young herd bulls on a rising plane of nutrition later in the season. The consistency and palatability of both products is of a high quality, as is their forage sorghum hay which we have fed to all classes of cattle. We are happy to recommend the products, as well as the service and knowledge of the team behind Maxwelton Feed & Grain.
